资源简介:
The study hypothesized that soybean and fish-based high fat diets (HFDs), despite lacking in sucrose, had differential effects on the gut microbiome of mice. To test this, we assessed the effect of sucrose-free fish oil- and soybean oil-based HFDs, respectively) on gut microbiota composition, obesity, and steatosis. C57BL/6 mice were fed with these two HFDs for 18 weeks. We found that neither of the two diets had a significant impact on total body weight. 16S rRNA sequencing of gut content samples displayed the induction of gut dysbiosis at different taxonomic levels. Microbial communities were clearly separated, showing differential dysbiosis between two HFD
