Transcriptome sequencing of Cynanchum rostellatum showing virus-like symptoms was performed to identify potential viral pathogens. The dataset was generated using rRNA-depleted total RNA extracted from symptomatic leaf tissues. A DNBSEQ LncRNA-Seq library was constructed and sequenced on an MGISEQ-2000 platform. This dataset contributed to the identification of Cynanchum rostellatum idaeovirus 1 (CRIV-1).
