Food systems Emissions shares, 1990-2019

This dataset represents the current version of the FAOSTAT Emissions shares domain, availbale currently and in subsequent updates (annually) at https://www.fao.org/faostat/en/#data/EM/visualize. The data present anthropogenic GHG emissions by all IPCC sectors: Energy, Waste, IPPU, Agriculture and LULUCF, + international bunkers and other. Fodo and agriuclture data on agriculture and LULUCF are from FAO; non-agricutlure sectors are from PRIMAP. Two additional views are provided to check data for agri-food systems. The first view is a IPCC disaggregation including Energy-food systems; Waste-food systems; LULUCF-food systems; Agriculture; IPPU-food systems. The second view provides a food systems view of data divided into emissions from: farm gate, land use change; and pre- and post-production processes. Pre and post-production include emissions from: fertilizers manufacturing; food processing; transport; retail; household consumption; and waste disposal. Data are available by country, by regional and topical aggregation; and globally, for CO2, CH4, N2O and F-gases separately, plus their aggegations in CO2eq using the AR5 GWP.
