Seawater intrusion threats fresh groundwater seriously in aquifers in coastal areas. The project carried out the study of geochemical processes of seawater intrusion and response mechanism of microorganism in Shandong and Guangdong Province, the results of which is helpful and valuable for deeply understanding the microbial community diversity and relationship with the groundwater along the salinity gradient.
