Deep soils and peatland–swamp systems hold half of China's wetland soil nitrogen
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the source data and supplementary materials for the manuscript "Deep soils and peatland–swamp systems hold half of China's wetland soil nitrogen" (submitted to Global Biogeochemical Cycles). Source data All data behind the main and supporting figures and tables are provided as individual CSV and Parquet files in the source_data folder. This includes: Validation metrics and training data for the TN and bulk-density models (Fig. 1) National spatial maps as pixel tables (Figs. 2–3, 515,457 pixels each) Predictor contribution and climate-substitution sensitivity results (Fig. 4) Bootstrap replicate-level data (200 replicates) Area-of-applicability maps and summaries Supporting tables S1–S14 as individual CSVs Note that spatial products are provided as Apache Parquet pixel tables rather than GeoTIFF rasters. Each table contains pixel identifiers and coordinates needed to reconstruct the mapped surfaces. Third-party licensed source rasters (WorldClim/CMIP6, soil, vegetation, administrative boundaries) are not redistributed here. Their sources and access links are documented in source_data/tables/tabS4_preds.csv and tabS14_meta.csv. Supplementary materials The manuscript's supplementary information files are also included: Supplementary_Material_1.docx — Tables S1–S14 and Figures S1–S9 Supplementary_Material_2.docx — Supplementary text Supplementary_Material_3.xlsx — Cleaned data workbook Key results National 0–100 cm wetland soil nitrogen stock: 1,098 Tg N (≈ 1.10 Pg N) Below-40 cm share: 49% Peatland and swamp share: 53% Bootstrap standard error: 136 Tg N License CC-BY-4.0 Citation Peng, B., Zhou, Z., Yin, S., Xu, L., & He, N.
