Mapping the global risk of chikungunya virus endemicity and autochthonous transmission following importation

These datasets are the data used in the paper on Environmental Microbiology entitled “Mapping the global risk of chikungunya virus endemicity and autochthonous transmission following importation”. The file named “Data for chikv model” includes the distribution data of chikungunya virus detected in humans, vectors, and animals from 1955 to 2023. The dataset also provides the sampling location and relevant literature sources. The file named “Supplementary References” includes all the references we included in this study. The supplementary file containing the niche modeling codes for vector mosquito species and chikungunya virus is uploaded as “Supplementary Code.txt”.
