Structure of Austria into NUTS units

Nuts is the abbreviation for “Nomenclature des unités territoriales statistiques”. This is a hierarchical nomenclature of territorial units for statistics, established by Eurostat years ago in cooperation with the Member States and which is mandatory by Regulation (EC) No 1059/2003 of 26 May 2003.
