近年来,随着国家对中药材质量的关注不断加深,各种创新方法逐渐被引入,以提升中药材质量的评估标准。中药材中存在的大量内生菌,与寄主植物的代谢活动以及活性药用成分的生成之间有着复杂的相互作用。这些内生菌对中药材的质量和道地性有着直接的影响,因而成为研究和控制中药材品质的关键因素之一。本数据集集中展示了当归、黄芪、党参、甘草、大黄这五种中药材的内生菌详细信息,从微生物学角度为质量标志物的筛选提供了科学依据。这一数据集不仅便于研究人员深入了解上述五种药材内生菌的分布和功能,还为中药材领域的研究(如道地性分析和药材标准化)提供了重要的参考数据和理论支持。通过检索与当归、黄芪、党参、甘草、大黄五种中药材内生菌相关的文献,从文献中筛选并获取了有关内生菌的详细信息,包括菌种名称、宿主植物、文献中的植物来源、分类、属、科、目、纲、门、功能/生物学作用、技术、16S rRNA/16S rDNA/ITS 序列长度、NCBI/GenBank参考序列号、参考文献、链接。此外,我们还添加了算法文件,对每个属的内生菌进行了统计分析,原始算法文件(名称:Endophytes analysis of MPMD)可通过访问https://doi.org/10.57760/sciencedb.17282获得。其中,表1(Endophytes frequency)统计了每个宿主中所有属在文献中出现的总频率和对应不同文献的篇数,设定这两项指标之和即总频率大于2的属作为该宿主的高频内生菌,并突出显示。在表2(Statistic analysis)中,补充了表1中高频菌在其他四种宿主中对应的总频率,并计算了每种高频菌分别在五种宿主所有高频菌中所占的比例(高频内生菌总频率/宿主中的高频内生菌总频率之和)及标准差,原始算法文件中列出了详细的公式及计算过程供参考。
In recent years, as national attention to the quality of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) has continued to deepen, various innovative methods have been gradually introduced to improve the evaluation standards for TCM quality. A large number of endophytes present in TCMs have complex interactions with the metabolic activities of host plants and the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. These endophytes directly affect the quality and geo-authenticity of TCMs, making them one of the key factors for studying and controlling TCM quality. This dataset comprehensively presents detailed information on endophytes from five commonly used TCMs: Angelica sinensis, Astragalus membranaceus, Codonopsis pilosula, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, and Rheum palmatum, providing scientific evidence for the screening of quality markers from a microbiological perspective. This dataset not only enables researchers to gain in-depth insights into the distribution and functions of endophytes in the aforementioned five TCMs, but also provides important reference data and theoretical support for research in the TCM field, such as geo-authenticity analysis and herbal standardization. By searching literature related to endophytes of the five aforementioned TCMs, detailed information on endophytes was screened and extracted, including strain name, host plant, plant source reported in literature, classification, genus, family, order, class, phylum, function/biological role, experimental techniques, 16S rRNA/16S rDNA/ITS sequence length, NCBI/GenBank reference accession numbers, references, and links. In addition, an algorithm file for statistical analysis of endophytes at the genus level was included. The original algorithm file (named: Endophytes analysis of MPMD) is available at https://doi.org/10.57760/sciencedb.17282. Specifically, Table 1 (Endophytes frequency) counts the total frequency of each genus across all literature for each host, as well as the number of distinct papers reporting the genus. Genera with the sum of these two indicators (total frequency) greater than 2 are defined as high-frequency endophytes for that host and are highlighted. Table 2 (Statistic analysis) supplements the total frequencies of the high-frequency endophytes identified in Table 1 across the other four hosts. It also calculates the proportion of each high-frequency endophyte among all high-frequency endophytes across the five hosts (calculated as total frequency of the high-frequency endophyte divided by the sum of total frequencies of high-frequency endophytes in the host) and the standard deviation. Detailed formulas and calculation procedures are provided in the original algorithm file for reference.
