Kangiella sp. TOML190 is a bacterium from its genus to be isolated for the first time from the surface of a crustacean, the striped shore crab, Pachygrapsus crassipes. The genome of this bacteria was sequenced to compare its genetic characteristics with other members of the Kangiella genus.
