Germany atlas basic protection in old age

Data from https://www.deutschlandatlas.bund.de : Share of the population with basic security at age 65 and older in 2020 as a percentage. Persons who have reached the corresponding age limit and cannot adequately ensure their livelihood are entitled to basic pensions in old age. In Germany, in December 2020, around 500,800 people received basic pensions in old age outside institutions such as old-age or nursing homes. In terms of all residents of Germany over the age of 65, this corresponds to a rate of 3.1 percent.
