Chronic Fatigue in Adolescents with Congenital Heart Disease and Healthy Peers: Raw Data Supporting the Biopsychosocial Comparative Analysis

This dataset contains the raw, anonymized data used in the study:“Chronic Fatigue in Adolescents with Congenital Heart Disease and Apparently Healthy Peers: A Biopsychosocial Perspective”The study investigates the severity and psychosocial correlates of chronic fatigue (CF) among adolescents aged 11–17 years with congenital heart defects (CHD) compared to healthy peers. Fatigue was assessed using the validated “Degree of Chronic Fatigue” questionnaire (Leonova & Shishkina, 2003), which evaluates global fatigue (Chronic Fatigue Index, CFI) and domain-specific aspects: physiological, cognitive, emotional, and social fatigue. Methodology:Data were collected under voluntary informed consent and with ethics committee approval (#18/1, 15.02.2023). Questionnaires were completed independently by adolescents in comfortable settings. Group comparisons were conducted using non-parametric tests (Mann-Whitney U), and correlational analyses were performed with Spearman’s rho.
