SGA 5 and SGA 6: Modern LaTeX Working Editions, English Translations, Source Repair, and Audit Materials

This is the reader-facing SGA working record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Mathematics Manuscripts project. It contains modern LaTeX working editions, machine-assisted English translations, source-repair workpasses, and audit materials for SGA 5 and SGA 6. Open first: 00_SGA5_English_SourceChecked_WorkingTranslation_NotCritical_20260717.pdf, the current 309-page source-aware SGA 5 English working translation. This version also adds 02_SGA6_English_FullRange_Layered_WorkingReader_NotCritical_20260718.pdf, a separately readable 381-page English reader covering the full extant SGA 6 source scan, source-PDF pages 001-702. Editable TeX, authority/formula/terminology/page ledgers, reproducible build and validation scripts, all 381 page renders, contact sheets, and targeted repair evidence are grouped in 06_SGA6_English_FullRange_TeX_Ledgers_and_RenderQA_20260718.zip. SGA 6 English authority layers: source-PDF 001-525 uses an inherited English control that is partially source-synchronized but not globally source-checked; idx532-662 / source-PDF 526-656 is source-checked against the directly checked French workpass for that range; idx663-702 / source-PDF 657-692 and terminal source-PDF 693-702 are a scan-checked English draft pending later French-source reconciliation. The record also retains the French SGA 5 and SGA 6 workpasses, the complete LNM 589 source scan inside the grouped SGA 5 support package, and a bounded Spanish SGA 6 Expose X working tranche for idx532-537 / printed pages 519-524. Scope: these are substantive machine-assisted, source-aware working translations and repair materials, not OCR-only output. They are not independently human-certified critical editions, whole-SGA completion claims, diagram-by-diagram certification, or guarantees that every remaining mathematical symbol and source ambiguity has been resolved.
