Spectral albedo of various vegetation types in the forest tundra ecotone near Umiujaq (56.55◦N. 76.55◦W) were recorded in September 2015 using an SVC HR-1024 radiospectrometer. The spectral range is 346.5 to 2400 nm. Vegetation types reported here are Lichen, Spruce, Dwarf birch, Willows, and Varied low vegetation.
We also report the spectral distribution of downwelling shortwave radiation under two conditions: mostly clear sky, with however a few clouds, and fully overcast. These spectral distributions can be used to calculate broadband albedo from the spectral albedos.
