This series is comprised of one volume recording a summary of the rents, fees, deposits, instalments, fines, etc. collected by the Crown Lands Agent at Corowa.Each one and two half folios records four weeks of revenue. At the end of each week the amounts collected are totalled. The date the money was remitted to Treasury is recorded, as well the Treasury receipt number and date the receipt was received. One column records the corresponding Cash Book folio number for each day's entry.Specifically, this register records the collection of deposits, survey fees, subdivision fees, interest and fines, instalments, balances, deed fees, improvements, transfer and lease fees, stamp duties, and various types of rents for Conditional Purchases, Auction and after Auction Purchases, Conditional Leases, Homestead Selections, Annual Leases, Homestead Leases, Settlement Leases, Improvement Leases, Residential Leases, Improvement Purchases and Church and School Lands. The register also records fees collected for Timber Licenses, from the Sale of Lithographs and Pamphlets, and Complainants' Deposits and Deposits on Tenders for Leases and Licenses.This volume also contains the Register of revenue collections by the Corowa Clerk of Petty Sessions, 1898 to 1901 (NRS 17957).
