Single cell RNA-seq of 4T1 mammary tumors treated with Axitinib

To understand the effect of hypoxia on vasculogenic mimicry we treated mammary tumour dervied from parental 4T1 cells with vehicle or Axitinib. Tumors were analyzed by scRNA-seq and the expression of endothelial genes assessed in these data with and wihtout Axitinib treatment. Overall design: 50,000 Parental 4T1 cells labelled with CellTag vector were implanted into the mammary fat-pad of 6-8 week old female Balb/C mice. After 6 days of tumor growth, animals were treated with vehicle or 50 mg/Kg Axitinib via intraperotoneal injection on a 5 days on 3 days off schedule for 14 days. Tumors were dissociated and submitted for single cell RNA-seq to the genomics core facility at the CRUK Cambridge Institute.
