Total emissions of PM2.5 (particles < 2.5 microM.) from own heating of dwellings and premises within the geographical area. Own heating includes heating of homes, commercial and public premises, as well as agricultural and forestry premises. Emissions should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions. Individual industrial activities lead to high emissions locally, while the sector’s own heating reflects the conditions in the municipality well. The key figure follows up the environmental quality objective Frisk air, see also sverigesmiljomal.se.
