ISBA–CTRIP monthly open-loop and LAI-assimilated simulations and basin-scale evaluation (1982–2017)

This dataset provides monthly basin-scale outputs from the global ISBA–CTRIP land-surface and river-routing system for open-loop (OL) and satellite leaf area index data assimilation (DA) experiments over 1982–2017. The OL and DA simulations cover 2,776 basin locations and include leaf area index, evapotranspiration, precipitation, changes in snow water equivalent and soil moisture, canopy and soil water storage, and simulated river discharge. Additional files provide evaluation metrics for 2,139 basins, together with basic basin descriptors and station mapping information. Original observed discharge time series are not included.
