资源简介:
The dataset for the study “Agronomic Strategies for Climate-Resilient Cotton Production: Water Use Efficiency and Abiotic Stress Mitigation in Bangladesh” comprises experimental measurements collected from a randomized complete block design (RCBD) conducted at Savar, Dhaka (AEZ 8: Madhupur Tract). Four agronomic treatments were evaluated: T1 (conventional flood irrigation, control), T2 (deficit irrigation at 60% ETc with organic amendment), T3 (furrow irrigation with black polyethylene mulch), and T4 (biochar-amended soil with drip irrigation), each replicated three times over plots of 30 m². The dataset includes yield parameters (number of bolls per plant, boll weight, seed cotton yield, lint yield, ginning outturn), water use parameters (irrigation applied, water use efficiency), fiber quality traits (staple length, fiber strength), and economic indicators (cost of cultivation, gross and net return, benefit-cost ratio). Data were statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA and Tukey’s HSD test (α = 0.05), and values are reported as mean ± standard deviation. The dataset captures treatment-specific differences in productivity, water efficiency, fiber quality, and profitability, providing a comprehensive basis for evaluating climate-resilient and economically viable cotton production strategies in Bangladesh. Feature Name : Replication : Treatment : Plant height (cm) : Bolls/plant : Boll wt (g) : Seed cotton (kg/ha) : Lint yield (kg/ha) : GOT (%) Staple (mm) : Strength (g/tex) : WUE (kg/ha·mm) : Description: All features descriptions are breifely describe in attched file.
