Investigate transcriptional responses of T. cruzi infected hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes from chagasic patients with and without cardiomyopathy. Overall design: We generated hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes from 3 cardiac and 2 asymptomatic patients and reinfected them with T. cruzi Y strain for 24 hours. Non-infected replicates were also generated.
