Tide Gauge Records 1996-1997, Beaver Lake, Australian Antarctic Territory

Tides were measured using a portable pressure transducer secured to fast ice at the mouth of Pagodroma Gorge with the transducer about 4 metres below low water line. A 30 day record was obtained.

Beaver Lake and the Stillwell Hills

In Dec 1996 - Jan 1997 a temporary pressure type tide gauge was deployed at Beaver Lake and the Stillwell Hills in open water.
Timed water level measurements were made over this period.
From these data a value for MSL was found for Beaver Lake and the Stillwell Hills.

本次潮汐测量采用便携式压力传感器（pressure transducer），将其固定于帕戈德罗姆峡湾（Pagodroma Gorge）入口处的固定冰（fast ice）上，传感器安装位置低于低潮线约4米，最终获取了为期30天的观测记录。
记录文档日期为2001年3月7日，涉及比弗湖（Beaver Lake）与斯特韦尔山（Stillwell Hills）区域。
1996年12月至1997年1月期间，研究人员在比弗湖与斯特韦尔山区域的开阔水域布设了临时压力式潮位计（tide gauge），并在此时段内开展了定时水位测量工作。
基于上述观测数据，研究人员计算得到了比弗湖与斯特韦尔山区域的平均海平面（Mean Sea Level, MSL）数值。
