FIELD: manufacturing technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a gypsum-fiber board or gypsum fiber-based board， as well as to a method and device for production of such gypsum-fiber board. Method of producing a gypsum-fiber board consists of the following process steps: obtaining a mixture of calcined gypsum and fibers; application of mixture on transportation means， which continuously moves in direction (A) of advance with speed of movement (V A) and are permeable for gas and/or water and/or liquid; preliminary compaction of mixture; moistening the mixture with water for hardening; further compaction of mixture; compaction of mixture until formation of gypsum-fiber briquette; cutting gypsum-fiber briquette into separate gypsum-fiber boards; drying of gypsum-fiber boards; if necessary， additional treatment and/or application of coating on dried gypsum-fiber boards or application of coating on them. For preliminary compaction， the mixture is moistened with finely dispersed water and subjected to low pressure. Besides， invention describes device for production of gypsum-fiber board， in particular， for implementation of this method， as well as gypsum-fiber board produced according to this method and/or due device.EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing gypsum-fiber board. 25 cl， 2 dwg
