资源简介:
The goal of this study is to evaluate two building damage prediction models, namely, the HAZUS and MDOF-Lu models, that have not been previously compared, to understand and inform users how they differ and may influence civil infrastructure seismic risk assessments. This study focuses on generating a scenario of an earthquake rupture along the San Andreas Fault and evaluating the resulting damages of 5000 buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area. The evaluation of these models is based on comparing the outputs of engineering demand parameters, damager measures, and decision variables. The data in this study can continue to be evaluated locally or similarly replicated using the SimCenter Regional Resilience Determination Tool (R2D).
