Fabrication and Characterisation of Graphite-based Membranes with Polymers and Bio-glass for Human Liver Cancer Cell Isolation

Graphite-based membranes are used in many applications predominantly in water treatment, gas separations, and oil industries. However, there is limited application of this membrane for diagnostic application. Therefore, this paper describes the techniques for fabricating a graphite-based membrane using polymers and bio-glass. The characteristics of the composite graphite-based membrane in supporting the growth of liver cancer cells were further confirmed by field emission scanning electron microscope analysis.
