This study investigated the link between the experience of heart flow and ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) using EEG (electroencephalography) measures.Data from the first experiment, ‘Are people exposed to ASMR more likely to experience heart flow?Data from the second experiment explored which of 3 types of auditory, auditory-visual-tactile stimuli, and auditory-visual stimuli induced stronger ASMR and heartflow experiences. We examined changes in EEG data during ASMR induced by multisensory auditory, auditory-visual, and auditory-visual-tactile stimuli.Experiment I stimulation:According to placebo reports of ASMR, induced stress reduction can be achieved using five-minute ASMR audio files (Cash et al., 2018). Therefore, we created a five-minute ASMR stimulus audio based on the triggers.The ASMR Audio was created in MP3 format (bitrate: 245 kbps) with a volume of 98 dB (Sakurai et al., 2023).In addition, in order to exclude participants from being influenced by subjective psychological cues (Keizer et al., 2020), we used non-ASMR audio with a ‘recipe description’ speaking component as a control according to the criteria of Poerio et al. 2018.实验 II 的刺激:我们使用音频 A 为实验 II 创建刺激材料。根据五个触发器创建了三组 ASMR 刺激。使用视频编辑软件 Capcut(4.2.0 版本)创建 MP4(1920*1080 分辨率,帧率:50 fps)压缩音频数据,音量设置为 98 dB。三种 ASMR 触发类型中的每一种都被刺激 5 分钟。
