Topics in this survey are protection of Australian industry from overseas competition, illegal immigrants, Vietnamese and other Indo-Chinese migrants, penalty for murder and other offences, parole, oil exploration on the Barrier Reef, performance of Prime Minister Fraser and Opposition Leader Hayden, electoral reform, financing of political party campaigns, types of entertainment attended, performance of Victorian State Premier Hamer and Opposition Leader Wilkes, vote intention and last vote in Victorian State election, election issues in Victoria and State Management if Government changes. Standard variables are country of birth, marital status, education level, religious denomination, church attendance, occupation and industry, trade union membership, occupation of head of household, age group, sex, vote intention, vote at last Federal election, subjective assessment of social class, number of persons in household, number and ages of children under 16 in household, life cycle, home ownership, gross income of respondent and household and whether on telephone.
