We aimed to relate the locomotion score of milking Jersey cows raised under hot humid tropical conditions with reproductive variables such as the services per conception and calving to conception interval or days open. Lameness affected reproductive performance since twice as many inseminations were required to achieve a pregnancy, increasing the calving to conception interval and decreasing the herd’s conception rate.
