The Ocean Networks Canada Orientation SN07 was deployed on 2023-07-14 at ODP 1027C. ODP 1027C is a borehole site used to pinpoint an area within Cascadia Basin. This device is a Orientation Instrument. Orientation instruments are used on ships, ROVs and instrument packages to record variables like heading, pitch and roll. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
