ABIS (All Babies in Southeast Sweden) is a prospective population-based cohort of 17055 children born in southeast Sweden from October 1, 1997, to October 1, 1999. The ABIS general-population cohort was designed to identify environmental and genetic factors associated with autoimmune diseases.Here, we show 25 infants at one year of age that developed celiac disease up to twenty years in the future.
