Small RNA sequencing in nail clipping from human

Many studies have showed that non-coding small molecule RNA is correlated with a variety of diseases, including infectious diseases. However, small RNA related studies in onychomycosis have not been reported. This study was aimed to conduct an initial study of small RNA in onychomycosis. By using RNA sequencing, differentially expressed microRNAs were identified in 3 patients with onychomycosis compared with 3 healthy controls.
