Distribution of FFH species in North Rhine-Westphalia WFS

The service Distribution of FFH Species in North Rhine-Westphalia contains regional spatial data on the distribution of FFH species within the meaning of the INSPIRE Annex III topic "Distribution of Species (SD)". The data show the distribution in a 10x10km grid (UTM) as "analytical units". The data are valid for the last reporting period in accordance with Article 17 of the Habitats Directive (2013-2019). The object metadata for the UTM grid cell (analytical unit), as object geometry, contains information on inspireId, name scheme (ReferenceSpeciesSchemeValue), e.g. EU-NOMEN, the corresponding species name URL ‘referenceSpeciesCodeValue’ and the ‘accepted name’ in accordance with EU nomenclature under ‘referenceSpeciesName’ ‘localName’, if applicable, German name or different knowledge. Name and a value for the category of occurrence (OccurranceCategoryValue). The data show distribution of FFH species in North Rhine-Westphalia. Special features: These are only grid cells. The data is freely accessible. The data are collected as a basis for the FFH reporting obligation under Article 17 of the Habitats Directive and digitised for these purposes. The data must be published on the Internet in North Rhine-Westphalia on the basis of § 3 of the State Nature Conservation Act.
