Metagenomic data of lagriamide producing Lagriinae beetles

Lagriamide is an antifungal polyketide synthesized by a trans-AT PKS-NRPS hybrid biosynthetic gene cluster (BGC). The BGC is present in a genome-reduced Burkholderia symbiont associated with a Lagriinae beetle. We sequenced 11 different Lagriinae beetles to understand the evolution of lagriamide producing Burkholderia symbionts and their beetle hosts.
