Splitting of the carbon dioxide Raman Fermi diad was measured using three different Raman instruments and various lasers and dispersion gratings. Data were collected at Virginia Tech and at the U.S. Geological Survey in Reston, VA. The purpose of the study was to compare densimeters determined using different analytical methods. The results show that calibrations are instrument and analytical condition dependent, and one should develop a densimeter that is specific to the users instrument and analytical protocols to obtain carbon dioxide pressures based on Raman analysis of bubbles in fluid and melt inclusions.
本研究采用三台不同的拉曼光谱仪、多款激光器与色散光栅,对二氧化碳拉曼费米二重峰(Raman Fermi diad)的分裂情况开展了测量。数据集的采集工作分别在弗吉尼亚理工大学(Virginia Tech)以及弗吉尼亚州雷斯顿市的美国地质调查局(U.S. Geological Survey)完成。本研究旨在对比不同分析方法标定的二氧化碳密度计的测定结果。结果表明,校准过程依赖于所用仪器与分析条件;若要基于流体与熔体包裹体中气泡的拉曼光谱分析获取二氧化碳压力,需开发适配于用户自身仪器与分析规程的专属密度测定方案。
