Guide to Waste Incineration Plants, Thermal Power Plants and Combustion Plants

With the updated guideline for waste incineration plants, thermal power plants and combustion plants, the Federal Environment Agency supports project applicants, planners and experts in the preparation and processing of environmental impact statements (UVE) for waste incineration plants, selected co-incineration plants (steam boiler plants), thermal power plants and combustion plants. It contains an overview of the relevant parts of the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (EIA-G 2000) and provides assistance for the selection and specification of the contents of an EIA for the above-mentioned types of projects. In addition to amended legal provisions, the revision also takes into account the practical experience of experts from the competent authorities and the Federal Environment Agency. The environmental impact statement is an elementary part of the procedure under the Federal Act on Environmental Impact Assessment 2000 (Federal Law Gazette No 697/1993 as amended by Federal Law Gazette I No 2/2008).
