Data Services of Air Surveillance Lower Saxony

The concentration values for the air pollutants nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, ozone, carbon monoxide and particulate matter (PM10) as well as the weather (temperature, wind direction, wind speed, air pressure, rain duration, UV index, global radiation) are provided on an hourly basis.

There is a freely accessible JSON file that provides the hourly readings of all LÜN measurement stations over the last 30 days. This dataset is used e.g. by the LÜN application for mobile devices (“LÜN app”) and also includes health assessments of pollutant concentrations and metadata on the measured components and sampling points.
