Driving Simulator Survey, Average Travel Time and Flow from Traffic Simulation, and Driving Headways from Driving Simulator

Driving_Sim_Summary.xlsx: This data file consists of the results of the participants in the driving simulator’s surveys and average speeds and headways within the driving simulator. The two rightmost columns were gathered from the participants after the driving portion of the experiment. Three participants did not complete the experiment due to simulator sickness and thus are excluded from the dataset: participants 25, 35, and 39.
MA-CAVS_Results.xlsx: This data file consists of the average travel times and average flow of the traffic simulation under varying AV market penetrations. Data was gathered for a 45 MPH speed limit and a 65 MPH speed limit. Line plots summarizing average travel time and average flow across AV market penetrations have been included.
