Finnish Opinions on Security Policy and National Defence 1998: Spring

In the survey, Finnish citizens' views on, for instance, military alliances and the funding of the Finnish Defence Forces were monitored. In addition, the respondents were asked to state their personal opinions on armed civil defence, military funding, and whether Finland should abolish the obligatory military service (conscription). Background variables included the respondent's sex, age group, social group, education, and the place and area of residence.
