Snowpit measurements made from ice stations during the SIPEX II voyage of the Aurora Australis, 2012

Note - these data should be used with caution. The chief investigator for the dataset has indicated that a better quality dataset exists, but the AADC have been unable to attain it for archive.In addition to snow pits dug by other groups, several snow pits were dug at IMB/AWS deployment sites and at snow mast sites. Dates, locations, personnel, and purpose are listed in Table 1. Many of the data files include the raw weight measurements including the mass of the snow density shovel along with the snow. 注意：本数据集需谨慎使用。该数据集的首席研究员指出存在质量更优的数据集，但AADC未能获取该优质数据集用于归档。除其他团队挖掘的雪坑外，研究团队还在IMB/AWS部署点位及雪桅杆站点挖掘了多组雪坑。各雪坑的日期、点位、参与人员及研究目的详见表1。
多数数据文件包含原始重量测量数据，其中包含雪密度铲与积雪的总质量。需结合对应雪坑适配的雪密度铲自重对该数据进行校正。
