Physical processes driving carbon subduction in the Southern Ocean in an eddy-permitting model
收藏资源简介:
These data were used to produce the figures in the article "Total and anthropogenic inorganic carbon fluxes in the Southern Ocean mixed layer from an eddying global ocean mode". Only processed model outputs are published yet, as larger model outputs are currently processed to take up less space. Python codes used to produce the figures are also in this repository. Global Carbon Budget fluxes can be found here: 10.5281/zenodo.10222483. Comparison_to_obs.iypnb corresponds to Figures 2, 3, S1, S2 and S4. Budgets.ipynb corresponds to Figures 4.a, 5.a, 6.a, 7.a, S5 and S6. MLbase_fluxes_detail.iypnb corresponds to Figure 4.b, 5.b, 6.b, 7.b, S7 and S8. Figures_2D.py corresponds to Figures 8, 10 and S3. Solace_bio.ipynb corresponds to Figure S9. Fluxes names in the code: advt: the total advection (vertical and horizontal), including thee eddy-driven transport. vertdiff: the vertical diffusion. mld: the seasonal entrainment due to the temporal variations of the mixed layer. isop: parameterized isopycnal diffusion. Terms are explained in the Section 2.3.3 of the article.
