Eurobarometer 15 has the following main survey focus areas:

1. the mood and satisfaction of Europeans,

2. attitude to Europe and the European Community and

3. attitude to introduction of a European passport.

Topics: 1. The mood and satisfaction of Europeans: general contentment
with life; fundamental philosophy on society; judgement on the
importance of political goals in one´s country.

2. Attitude to Europe and the European Community: attitude to
unification of Western Europe; judgement on the development of harmony
between the nations of the EC; attitude to membership in the community
and degree of solidarity with the EC; index of attitude to the European
Community; advantages and disadvantages of membership of one´s country
in the EC; attitude to remaining or leaving the EC; judgement on
solidarity within Europe.

3. Attitude to introduction of a European passport.

4. Miscellaneous: judgement on one´s own opinion leadership; political
interest; self-assessment on a left-right continuum; party allegiance
and party preference; possession of television set (color or black and
white) and average television time per week; preferred types of
television broadcasts; postmaterialism index.

Demography: age; sex; marital status; occupational position; company
size; household income; household composition; respondent is head of
household; party preference (Sunday question); degree of urbanization.
