(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1, number 1366 here with notations and hyperlinks]. 727 Intikhâb-i-Haft Iḳlîm (انتخاب هفت اقليم). An abridgment of the Haft Iḳlîm, made by Faiḍ-allâh Anṣârî Jaunpûrî, with the takhalluṣ Himmat (see fol. 4b, l. I), and dedicated to Wajîh-aldîn ‘Alîkhân Bahâdur, who is called the master of the sword and pen (صاحب السيف و القلم ), see fol. 4a, l. 1 sq. A date of this compilation, which simply gives the geographical accounts of the Haft Iḳlîm in a condensed form, omitting all the biographical details, is not found. Beginning: ستايش وآفرين آفريننده را كه معمورئ هفت اقليم الخ. Iḳlim I, on fol. 5b; II, on fol. IIb; III, on fol. 22a; IV, on fol. 78a; V, on fol. 102a; VI, on fol. 113b; VII, on fol. 127b. No date. This rather modern copy belonged formerly to Mr. Richard Johnson. No. 1366, ff. 132, ll. 13; Shikasta; worm-eaten; size, 81/8 in. by 43/8 in.
