An intensive oceanographic survey was conducted during 35 days from 2012 August 4 to September 7 by IBRV ARAON to measure the spatial and temporal variation of seawater circulation in the Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge. The circulation patten of seawater was observed using LADCP. To investigate pathways of the Pacific origin Summer Water (PSW) and understand the relationship with sea ice melting in the Chukchi Borderland/Mendeleev Ridge.
