Our RNA-seq results showed that valproic acid (VPA) works synergistically with activated Vitamin D3 (VD3) to enhance the expression of enterocyte-function-related genes in iPS-derived enterocyte-like cells. Overall design: To elucidate the effect of VPA and VD3 on the differentiation of human iPS cell-derived enterocytes, we performed RNA-seq and analyzed the global expression profile at the maturation stage.
