Raw data of "Uncovering thematic biases in ecosystem services mapping: Knowledge shortfalls and challenges for use in conservation" (D.O.I.: 10.1016/j.biocon.2023.110086)

Ecosystem services mapping is witnessing a surge in usage, with a significant increase observed in recent times. However, the lack of characterization of conservation knowledge shortfalls can result in essential gaps in decision-making and public policy. The goal of the scientific paper, published in Biological Conservation Journal (doi.org/10.1016/j.biocon.2023.110086) was to delineate the thematic changes that have emerged in ecosystem services mapping and their significance in biodiversity conservation. To achieve this, we conducted a literature search on this topic and identified 1670 relevant documents published between 2005 and 2021. This database presents and makes available the raw data of this publication.生态系统服务制图（Ecosystem services mapping）的应用正迎来爆发式增长，近年来其使用量已出现显著提升。然而，对保护知识缺口（conservation knowledge shortfalls）缺乏系统性梳理，可能会在决策制定与公共政策制定中造成关键漏洞。本研究发表于《生物保护杂志》（Biological Conservation Journal，doi.org/10.1016/j.biocon.2023.110086），其研究目标是厘清生态系统服务制图领域涌现出的主题变化，及其在生物多样性保护中的重要意义。为达成这一目标，研究团队针对该主题开展了文献检索，最终筛选得到2005年至2021年间发表的1670篇相关文献。本数据集即提供并公开了该研究的原始数据。
