Single channel seismic field data on the Rio Grande slope and delta off south Texas, acquired by the R/V Lone Star in 1996 (LS9609)

Funded by a Rice University consortium of petroleum companies, this R/V Lone Star survey collected single-channel seismic data on the Rio Grande slope and delta off south Texas during September 1996 using a 20 ci sleeve gun. The objectives were to study the evolution of the sediment supply. The survey collected a second SCS data set on the shelf using a 15 ci watergun and collected CHIRP data.本数据集由莱斯大学（Rice University）石油企业联盟资助，“孤星号”（R/V Lone Star）研究船于1996年9月使用20 ci（立方英寸）套筒枪震源，在南得克萨斯近海的里奥格兰德陆坡与三角洲区域完成单道地震数据采集。本次勘测的核心目标为探究沉积物供给的演化过程。此外，该勘测还使用15 ci（立方英寸）水枪震源在陆架区域采集了第二套SCS数据集，并同步获取了CHIRP数据。
