This dataset include the whole rock major and trace element compositions of harzburgite from the Xigaze ophiolites in southern Tibet. It also includes the major and trace element compositions of olivine, orthopyroxene, clinopyroxene, spinel, tremolite and carbonate minerals in the harzburgites, and the structrual hydroxyl of orthopyroxene and clinopyroxene. These data show that the harzburgite reflect high degrees of melt extraction at mid-ocean ridge, but experience fluid metasomatism during ophiolite emplacement. This metasomatic process greatly affects the whole rock and mineral compositions of the harzburgite.本数据集涵盖西藏南部日喀则蛇绿岩套（Xigaze ophiolites）中方辉橄榄岩（harzburgite）的全岩主量与微量元素组成；同时包含该类方辉橄榄岩中橄榄石（olivine）、斜方辉石（orthopyroxene）、单斜辉石（clinopyroxene）、尖晶石（spinel）、透闪石（tremolite）及碳酸盐矿物的主量与微量元素组成，以及斜方辉石与单斜辉石的结构羟基。数据结果显示，该方辉橄榄岩记录了洋中脊环境下的高程度熔体萃取作用，但在蛇绿岩侵位过程中经历了流体交代改造；该交代作用过程对该方辉橄榄岩的全岩及矿物组成产生了显著影响。
