3D-models of the Locker Rock in Lower Saxony — Lower Saxony Coast (WMS Service)

In order to be able to connect land-side 3D models of the LBEG with the Lower Saxony coastal area, the model areas of the sub-model Quaternary from the project “Geopotential Deutsche Nordsee (GPDN)” were used as the basis for the 3D model “Lower Saxon Coast” (NK) and partly revised. Approximately 10,000 holes from the drilling database Lower Saxony and about 300 seismic profiles were used to create the entire North Sea model (GPDN). After adjusting the areas to the state border of Lower Saxony, existing data from 3D models of the LBEG have been incorporated.
