资源简介:
This Python script was developed as part of a study on the climate vulnerability of tropical forests and is being made available in this repository to support the submission of a scientific article. The code calculates the atmospheric decoupling factor (Ω), an indicator of forest microclimatic resilience in the face of climate change and anthropogenic degradation. It uses daily meteorological data from the BR-DWGD database (Brazilian Daily Weather Gridded Data, available at: https://sites.google.com/site/alexandrecandidoxavierufes/brazilian-daily-weather-gridded-data) and net primary productivity (NPP) data from the MUSES dataset (MUltiscale Satellite remotE Sensing, available at: https://zenodo.org/record/3996814). Applied to the Xingu Indigenous Park, the script enables comparisons between protected and fragmented forest areas, highlighting the role of forest structure in maintaining local microclimates. This tool aims to support researchers and environmental managers in analyzing climate risks and designing more effective and adaptive conservation strategies.
