WMS service corresponding to the Habitat of Community Interest of Forestry Formations of cork oaks that are located on sands and littoral dunes. They correspond to forests of Quercus suber that develop on fixed dunes belonging to the wind mantle, or on fossil dunes near the coast. These forests, which have now largely disappeared, were relatively abundant on the west coasts of our region, but the urban pressure, forest farms and fires have ended most of them, remaining today and as witnesses of part of their former occupation, isolated cork oak individuals. In addition to the cork oak, they are part of the community Myrtus communis, Pistacia lentiscus, Calicotome villosa, Ulex australis, Halimium halimifolium, Cistus crispus, Teucrium fruticans, Juniperus turbine, Rubia Pilgrim, Phillyrea angustifolia, Rubus ulmifolius, Aristolochia baetica, etc. Concerning fauna, when it comes to well-preserved forests, they are the natural habitat of protected species such as lynx, imperial eagle or monte cat. Among the most typical species are the deer, the wild boar, the deer, along with an important number of other vertebrates and invertebrates. Integrated into the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Cartographic System of Andalusia.
