The Method for Increasing the Frequency Efficiency of a Multichannel Information Transmission System with Frequency Division

The proposed method of increasing the frequency efficiency of a multichannel information transmission system by overlapping the frequency intervals allocated for communication in neighboring channels is based on determining the orthogonal weight of the received channel symbol with neighboring channel symbols of the main channel and channel symbols of neighboring channels. It is shown that if neighboring communication channels are characterized by the same bandwidth and the frequency intervals allocated to them overlap in frequency by half the bandwidth, then the frequency efficiency of a multichannel information transmission system can be increased by 2 times. The calculations were performed for the case when the channel symbols are described by the functions of samples multiplied by the harmonic oscillation of the carrier frequency. The weight of the orthogonality of the channel symbols for this case is the sum of the harmonic oscillations.
