QuantCube CPI Nowcast

The QuantCube CPI Nowcast Indicator is a real-time indicator that quantifies the current Consumer Price Index at a country level by crossing and aggregating multiple subcomponents. It tracks official consumer price numbers (CPI-U or Core CPI) with a strong correlation up to 99%. By construction, this macro indicator provides users the direction of inflation approximately two weeks in advance of official numbers, which are released by governmental institutions with time delay.

The CPI is the most widely used measure of inflation, closely followed by policymakers, financial markets, businesses, and consumers.
